We have had Sadie for 18 months now and she has grown into a perfect dog. She is very intelligent and has been easy to train in all areas and has a very good and honest nature. We have had many compliments about her appearance. Although we don’t work her she is an excellent pet, great for long moorland walks. We have also been very impressed by all the help and support we have been given by the breeders and are considering another English Springer from Babbinsbriar.

Babbinsbriar Spaniels are in a class of their own.
Darcy is a really special, small and intelligent young dog, with lots of energy and a truly fantastic temperament. We are constantly telling ourselves (and anyone else who cares to listen) just how lucky we feel we are to have her and all our friends comment on her friendly and gentle nature.
I have attached a couple of photos, both taken on holiday on the welsh coast at the end of November. She loved the beach and embraced it with the same enthusiasm that she embraces everything. She was slightly confused by seagulls, but loved evenings in the hotel bar by the fire, especially as almost everyone who came in came over to talk to her.
We still consider ourlseves so lucky to have found the Babbinsbriar website during one of our many trawls of the internet as we searched for a springer spaniel puppy to fill the gap eft by our previous spring who died in 2006. Talking to Charlotte as the first point of contact was great – she made us feel so confident about our decision we were making and, when Darcy arrived, we knew immediately that she was absolutely the right puppy for us.
Thanks to Babbinsbriar for everything but most of all for the latest, truly wonderful, addition to our family. We will be back!
